Pastoral Service & Teaching

Father Juvenal will minister in São Paolo, focusing on the Parish of the Dormition of the Theotokos, one of two parishes in São Paulo under the omophorion of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Buenos Aires and South America. Father Juvenal will provide pastoral care to members of the mission parish, while also offering catechism to strengthen and grow the parish community. Further, he will focus more broadly on the mission work of the Orthodox Church by assisting in the training of catechists who will assist in teaching, giving lectures on Orthodoxy, and creating opportunities to engage with non-Orthodox groups and individuals.

Translations

In addition to parish ministry, Father Juvenal also advances translations of the Liturgy and other supporting texts using the AGES software.
